Corrine Day, 1965-2010
According to several sources, British photographer Corinne Day died yesterday after suffering for some time from a brain tumor. As a self taught photographer, Day brought a more hard edged documentary look to fashion image making, in which she often included biographical elements. Considered by many to have developed a very specific sort of "grunge" photography in the early 1990s, she is also known for introducing the world to a teenage Kate Moss.
The iconic photographs of Moss shown here were featured in the 3rd Summer of Love editorial for the FACE magazine in 1990.
