Kim Jones, Louis Vuitton and The Masai

From  Style.com   Kim Jones' debut as men's style director at Louis Vuitton was a coup similar to the one achieved by Vuitton's artistic director, Marc Jacobs, 14 years ago.  A union that seemed unlikely on the surface turned out in actuality to be a relationship of remarkable, intimate compatibility. In the four months since he was appointed to the position, Jones and his team managed to turn out a collection that wove his own history into Vuitton's heritage.  The common bond? Travel. Vuitton has always been the traveler's brand. Jones grew up in Kenya, and his life since has been defined by a nomadic spirit. When Tommy Met Anita

One of the most popular posts on Trend I-Spy has been How The Stones Rolled in Exile featuring photos of the band with their wives and girlfriends living in the South of France in the early 1970s. Looks as if Anita Pallenburgh's style also made a big impression on Tommy Hilfiger for Fall 2011 .  He told Style.com back in February, " ... we always want to make preppy fresh." To do so, Hilfiger invoked the raucously stylish spirit of the rock star's girlfriend of yore, women like Britt Ekland and Anita Pallenberg.

I promise I'll stop soon with the all-things-Middleton obsession but not before I show the photos of Kate, ahem, The Duchess of Cambridge, with her husband and brother-in-law, just beyond adorable looking ...
